Notice for Online Classes || 16 February’23, Thursday (Primary Section)

Dear Parents, Hope you are all doing well. We would like to inform you that online classes will be conducted for Grade 1 to Grade 4 (Junior School) on Thursday, 16 February’23 due to preparation for the “Boichitro Bangla Programme” to be held on Saturday, 18 February-2023, Saturday. Please note the following: Regular routine for Thursday will be followed during online classes up to 4th period (11: 40 AM) for Grades 1& 2 and up to 5th period (12: 25 PM) for Grades 3&4. Regular on campus classes will commence from Sunday, 19 February’ 23 onwards. Late arrival at school

Dear Parents, Please be informed that in order for us to ensure the smooth conduction of the academic lessons, co-curricular & sports activities, it is imperative for students to be punctual and arrive at School timely. Understanding the importance and value of time & being punctual, is a quality we want to inculcate in our students from a very early age. Arriving on time for school ensures that your child doesn’t miss out on the important learning activities that happen early in the day when they are most alert. Students who are punctual, do not miss the School Assembly, have the opportunity to settle down in the class, prepare their materials and focus on the lessons to come. We have noticed that many of our students arrive at school quite late, even towards the end of 1st or 2nd period and that is not acceptable. Keeping these issues in mind, we have decided to restrict the entrance of Primary students into Junior school premises after 8: 30 am, effective from Sunday, 5th February 2023, unless the parents have taken prior permission from the school to arrive late due to an emergency. Please note the following points- –  Arrival time for Primary students – 7:45 am – 8:30 am –  Junior School Main Gate will be closed after 8:30 am and Primary students will be sent back home. Only Pre Primary students will be allowed after 8:30 am. – Late students will be considered only in case of roadblocks or unforeseen weather conditions. – Students who are dropped off in front of the school by parents /drivers will be kept seated in the waiting area and their parents will be called to collect the child from the school for that day. – Parents are requested to cooperate with the Security personnel and the Front desk personnel regarding this issue as no requests will be entertained. We seek your cooperation as parents/guardians to ensure that your child arrives at school timely every day. Thank you. Sumona Karim Head of Junior School Glenrich School Dhaka   সম্মানিত অভিভাবক বৃন্দ,   আপনাদের সদয় অবগতির জন্য জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা কার্যক্রম সহ পাঠ্যক্রম এবং খেলাধুলার কার্যক্রম সুষ্ঠুভাবে পরিচালনা নিশ্চিত করতে, ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের সময়নিষ্ঠ হওয়া ও বিদ্যালয়ে সময়মতো পৌঁছানোর প্রয়োজনীয়তা বাধ্যতামূলক। সময়ের মূল্য এবং সময়নিষ্ঠ হওয়ার প্রয়োজনীয়তা অনুধাবন করা একটি গুণ যা আমরা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের প্রাথমিক পর্যায় থেকেই প্ররোচিত করতে চাই। সময়মতো স্কুলে পৌঁছানো ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শিক্ষার কার্যক্রম নিশ্চিত করা হয় যখন দিনের শুরুতে তারা সবচেয়ে বেশি সচেতন থাকে। যারা সময়নিষ্ঠ ছাত্র-ছাত্রী, তারা এসেম্বলি করতে পারে, শ্রেণিতে স্থির হয়ে বসার সুযোগ পায়, তারা তাদের কার্যক্রম প্রস্তুতি ও তার উপর মনোযোগ দিতে পারে।   আমরা লক্ষ্য করেছি আমাদের অনেক ছাত্র-ছাত্রী বেশ বিলম্বে প্রবেশ করছে, এমনকি প্রথম এবং দ্বিতীয় বিষয়ের সময়কালীন পার হয়ে যাচ্ছে, এবং যা অগ্রহণযোগ্য। এই ব্যাপারটি কে গুরুত্ব রেখে, আমরা সকাল ৮:৩০  ঘটিকায় জুনিয়র স্কুলের প্রাথমিক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের প্রবেশ পথ কড়াকড়ি সীমাবদ্ধতার সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করেছি, যা ৫ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৩ রবিবার থেকে কার্যকর হবে। যদি কোন অভিভাবক জরুরী ভিত্তিক কারণে পূর্ব অনুমোদন নিয়ে থাকে তবে বিলম্ব গ্রহণযোগ্য হবে।   অনুগ্রহ করে নিম্নে বর্ণিত বিশেষ দ্রষ্টব্য লক্ষ্য করবেন –   -প্রাথমিক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের আগমনের সময় – সকাল ৭:৪৫ ঘটিকা – ৮:৩০ ঘটিকা   –জুনিয়র স্কুল প্রধান গেইট বন্ধ হবে ৮:৩০ ঘটিকায় এবং প্রাথমিক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদেরকে বাড়ি ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। শুধুমাত্র প্রাক প্রাথমিক ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদেরকে অনুমোদন দেওয়া হবে ৮:৩০ ঘটিকার পরে, কার্যকর হবে রবিবার,৫ই ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৩ থেকে।   -বিলম্ব ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদেরকে গণ্য করা হবে শুধুমাত্র সড়ক অবরোধ অথবা অপ্রত্যাশিত আবহাওয়ার পরিবর্তনের উপর।   -ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের যাদেরকে অভিভাবক অথবা চালকরা স্কুলের সামনে নামিয়ে দিয়ে যাবে তাদেরকে ওয়েটিং রুমে বসানো হবে এবং পরবর্তীতে তাদের অভিভাবকগণদের ফোন করে তাদের সন্তানদের ঐ দিনই স্কুল থেকে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য বলা হবে।   -অভিভাবকদের এই সমস্যা সম্পর্কে নিরাপত্তা কর্মী এবং ফ্রন্ট ডেস্ক কর্মীদের সাথে সহযোগিতা করার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে কারণ কোন অনুরোধ গ্রহণ করা হবে না।   আপনার সন্তান যেন প্রতিদিন যথাসময়ে স্কুলে আসে তা নিশ্চিত করতে আমরা পিতামাতা বা অভিভাবক হিসেবে আপনার সহযোগিতা কামনা করছি ।   ধন্যবাদ,   সুমনা করিম জুনিয়র স্কুল প্রধান   ডিপিএস এসটিএস স্কুল ঢাকা

Glenrich My Country, My Pride Selfie Contest Dear All,   Independence Day in Bangladesh is celebrated on 26th March commemorating the country’s declaration of Independence. The people of Bangladesh pay homage to all the martyrs and the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives to achieve victory over brutal foreign forces.
