Montessori Lab

Where Curiosity Meets Confidence in the Early Years.

At Glenrich International School, our dedicated Montessori Labs are thoughtfully curated to support the natural curiosity and developmental needs of our Pre-Primary learners. These sensory-rich spaces invite young children to learn through hands-on exploration, purposeful play and guided discovery.

Learning by Doing

From dry pouring and spoon transfers to tracing sandpaper letters and numbers, each activity is carefully designed to strengthen fine motor skills, coordination, and early literacy. Tasks like fitting shapes into boxes, threading beads, rolling mats, and using buttons, zippers, and laces foster independence and concentration—key foundations for lifelong learning.

Children engage with a variety of tactile and sensory materials, including:

  • Textured surfaces for touch-based learning
  • Scented objects and auditory voice boxes for sensory exploration
  • Abacuses and manipulatives to build early numeracy skills

These materials help students make meaningful connections with their surroundings, supporting both cognitive and emotional development.

Rooted in the Montessori
Philosophy

Guided by trained educators, the Montessori Labs offer a nurturing environment where every child can grow at their own pace, build confidence, and develop a love for learning. It’s a place where curiosity is encouraged, choices are respected, and discovery becomes a joyful experience.

At Glenrich, we believe that the early years lay the foundation for all future learning. Our Montessori Labs ensure that this foundation is strong, inspiring, and filled with wonder.
