Glenrich School is proud to announce the dates for the much awaited event ‘World Scholar’s Cup 2023’ , an Academic programme which focuses on bringing students from different cultures together to discuss issues and ideas relevant to today. The upcoming regional round will take place at the INTERNATIONAL HOPE SCHOOL, Dhaka on 10th ,11th and 12th March 2023.
The World Scholar’s Cup is an international team academic programme with students participating from over 80 countries. It has attracted what it calls a global community of future scholars and leaders’ that allows participants to ‘discover strengths and skills’. Our students have successfully participated in the previous regional rounds, Global rounds as well as the Tournament of Champions at Yale University and brought laurels to the school by winning a large number of individual and team events.
Each World Scholar’s Cup Regional Round consists of four main events: The Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, The Team Debate, and the Scholar’s Bowl. In addition to these four main events, additional activities take place. These activities are both social and academic, and strive to solidify the community aspect of the World Scholar’s Cup.
The event is open for students of Grades 5 to 12 in two different categories- Juniors and Seniors. The students will be placed in appropriate categories as per the age.
It is a team event where three students participate as a team. If you are unable to form a team, you may register individually. We will help you with the teammates.

Registration fee is 3000 BDT per student which needs to be paid by Bkash.

We will be conducting some training sessions during February for all the registered students so that they are well prepared for the event.
