Pre-Primary (PG to KG-II) Students-Led Conference 2023-24

Dear Parents,   We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Junior School Students-Led Conference for Playgroup to Grade 4, a remarkable event that proved to be a resounding success last year. This event not only significantly enhanced students’ learning outcomes but also played a pivotal role in boosting their confidence levels in effective communication. We kindly request your enthusiastic support in encouraging your child’s participation. Date for Students-Led Conference: Saturday, October 7th, 2023 Venue: Assigned Classrooms Structure and Guidelines: In alignment with the idea that teaching is the most effective form of learning, the Students-Led Conference will follow these structured guidelines: Participation: It is mandatory for all the students to participate. It is also mandatory for the parents to attend the same. Each student can make one presentation only and present individually (students’ groups are not allowed) Topic Selection: Each student will select a topic or topics based on their preferences and areas of interest from the Midterm curriculum. They are encouraged to add additional updated information on the selected topic. Teachers will help students to choose topics and prepare their presentations. Students in every class will be assigned topics from English, Math, Science, Computer, GP, History, Geography, Music, Art, Dance, Sports, etc. Presentation Aids: Students can choose to use props to enhance their explanations. For PG and Nursery, parents can accompany the child during the presentation. Rehearsal: Prior to the main event, a rehearsal will be conducted to help students fine-tune their presentations. Audience: Each student will be accompanied by 3-4 individuals, (Parents, guardians, neighbors, or relatives), to attend the event. Presentation Slots: Sets of 8-10 students and their accompanying parents will be assigned hourly slots for presentations. A few stalls and fun activities will be available for the students and parents to enjoy before and after the presentation slot. Certificates: Every student who presents will receive a participation certificate. Q & A Session: Following each presentation, there will be a brief 1–2-minute question and answer session to engage with the audience. Video Recording: Parents are encouraged to record their child’s presentation to capture this momentous achievement. Your child’s active involvement in the Students-Led Conference promises not only a rewarding experience for them but also an invaluable opportunity for growth and development. Notice for Senior School Parents Authorization Card

Dear Parents,    Hope you are all doing well. Keeping the safety & security of the students, parents & staff in mind, we would like to update you regarding the rules & regulations while entering the school premises.   * Parents/Guardians are requested to carry the ‘Parents’ Authorization cards’ at ALL times when entering the school premises during school days, school event days and also during the school holidays.   * In case you still do not have the card, you are requested to immediately contact the Admission Office to make one. For every academic session, you will be provided with one Authorization card free of charge, provided you submit the previous one. For cases such as lost/damaged/etc there will be a charge of Tk 300.     * Parents need to update the information & photographs immediately, in case there are changes of authorized people mentioned in the card. An invitation email along with the time slot will be shared with you by the class teachers. Kindly follow the time slot for the smooth conduction of the PTM. You can meet the Class Teachers in the respective Homerooms during the mentioned time. Precautions taken at Junior School for the prevention of Dengue

Dear Parents,    We consider the health and well-being of our students above all things, and keeping the present Dengue situation in mind, we are taking extra precautions by doing thorough cleaning and spraying every 2nd day, in and around the campus.
